AVOCA BEACH GALA
DAY –7th August 2005
Our Gala Day is scheduled for
Sunday 7th August to kick off at 11am. We
need all the help we can get AND all the players. Please
ensure you schedule this important event.
Food and drink will be provided
and it is a great day out for all the family. We hope to
have at least five teams attending and may be more and
we can set up two playing fields if necessary.
Any one who can assist in the
setup of the event would be very much
appreciated at the venue by 9am
The details then:
VENUE: HEAZLETT PARK
KICK OFF: 11.00am
FINISH: 4.00 pm or possibly
earlier depending of number of teams.
RULES: All games played under
Golden Oldies Rules REFRESHMENTS: BBQ and Bar facilities
will be available for the family all day.
Please also schedule a
‘Guernsey night’ at the Avoca Pub on Wednesday 3rd
of August starting 6:00pm and wear your club footy
shirt. There will be some available at the pub. Mike
Norris will donate $5 to the club for each person
wearing a Guernsey.
